Academics

We follow the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) syllabus in English medium, with Hindi compulsory throughout. How we teach it is the part worth reading.

How We Teach

01

Concept before practice

A topic is taught, checked with an oral question round, and only then given as written work. Sums are never set on a concept the class has not been questioned on.

02

Small enough to be seen

Sections are capped at thirty. Every teacher keeps a class register of who spoke, who asked, and who has been quiet for a week.

03

A mentor for every student

From Class VI upwards, each student is assigned a teacher-mentor who tracks marks, attendance and mood, and who calls home when any of the three slips.

04

Doubt clinic, not tuition

Free evening sessions four days a week for Classes IX to XII. No fee, no separate batch — the same teachers who took the class in the morning.

Senior Secondary

Stream allotment is on the Class X board result and a counselling session with the parent present.

Science stream
